This information is for individuals or companies applying pesticides for hire.

  • Obtain and complete application forms (Form DP-29). Submit with the appropriate fees and required documents.

Required Documents–

  • Proof of Financial Responsibility of $100,000 sent to the Plant Board Office. May be proven by Insurance, Letter of Credit, Surety Bond or Escrow Account.
  • Each firm is required to have a licensed certified applicator. This person must be indicated on the application form. Click here for more Information
  • For out of state firms, a Power of Attorney designating an Arkansas resident is required. Click here for form
  • To add additional equipment after a license has been issued use
    Form DP-29A

Application Equipment: Each piece of application equipment must display a decal before applying pesticides. Also aircraft must display a decal before applying seed, fertilizer or pesticides.

CUSTOM APPLICATOR PERMITS

This permit is required if an individual or company applies any pesticides
classified as a "E" or "F" under the Arkansas Regulations on Pesticide
Classification for hire.

  • Obtain and complete Form DP-32 . Submit to the Plant Board with the appropriate fees and required documentation.

Requirements:

  • One must obtain a commercial license first.

  • Testing is required for the operator in charge and each pilot who applies
    2,4-D containing herbicides.

  • Proof of Financial Responsibility of $100,000 sent to the Plant Board Office. May be proven by Insurance, Letter of Credit, Surety Bond or Escrow Account.

  • To add additional equipment after a license has been issued use
    Form DP-29A
